The Reason for the Season

T'was the night before Christmas,
And all through the house,
The family was stirring,
There wasn't room for a mouse.
As we gathered around,
To read a sweet story,
The birth of our Savior..
Who was born in a manger.
A baby boy come to save the lost,
A baby boy who would die on the cross,
The reason why we have the remission of sin,
The reason why you and I are forgiven.
He was born to die,
Yes, for you and I,
Upon the Cross He paid the price,
He gave his life, the sweetest sacrifice,
Born of the womb, and buried in a tomb.
As he had said he would not stay,
Death could not bind him,
And He rose in three days.
Our savior is not dead,
we should not mourn,
But rather we should celebrate
The day He was born!!!
                Merry Christmas
